Was ist NADH?

NADH ist die reduzierte Form von Nicotinamid-Adenin-Dinukleotid, einem aus Niacin aufgebauten Coenzym. Es wirkt als Elektronenpendel: NAD⁺ nimmt Elektronen auf und wird zu NADH, in der Atmungskette gibt es sie wieder ab.

Was ist der Unterschied zwischen NAD⁺ und NADH?

Die Ladung. NAD⁺ ist die oxidierte, NADH die reduzierte Form desselben Moleküls. Es handelt sich um zwei verschiedene Substanzen - die Angabe der Form auf dem Etikett ist daher keine Formalie.

Warum ist NADH so instabil?

NADH zerfällt unter Feuchtigkeit, Licht, Sauerstoff und Säure. Ein Präparat kann rechnerisch korrekt deklariert sein und trotzdem beim Verbraucher kaum noch intaktes NADH enthalten - deshalb sind Stabilisierung und lichtgeschützte Verpackung entscheidend.

Was ist der Unterschied zur 75-mg-Variante?

Diese Variante liefert 50 mg pro Kapsel bei 60 Kapseln. Die höher dosierte Ausführung liefert 75 mg pro Kapsel in einer Packung mit 150 Kapseln.

Wann sollte man NADH einnehmen?

Die Tagesdosis liegt bei 1 Kapsel, üblicherweise morgens zu einer Mahlzeit.

Wie sollte NADH gelagert werden?

Kühl, trocken und lichtgeschützt. Bei NADH ist das aufgrund der Instabilität des Moleküls tatsächlich relevant und kein Standardhinweis.

Sind die Inhaltsstoffe natürlich?

Ja. NADH ist ein körpereigenes Coenzym. Unser Rohstoff wird fermentativ gewonnen und stabilisiert, damit er die Kapsel intakt erreicht.

Kann man die Kapsel auch öffnen?
