Was ist Moringa?

Moringa oleifera ist ein Baum aus der Familie der Bennussgewächse, im Deutschen Meerrettichbaum genannt. Charakteristisch sind Glucosinolate - dieselbe Stoffklasse wie in Senf und Brokkoli. Unser Blattextrakt liefert 1.950 mg pro Tagesdosis.

Wie wirkt Moringa?

Moringa enthält Glucosinolate, aus denen Isothiocyanate entstehen. Eine Übersichtsarbeit von 2020 beschreibt, dass diese durch einen zusätzlichen Zuckerrest stabiler sind als Isothiocyanate anderer Pflanzen.

Warum heißt Moringa Meerrettichbaum?

Weil die Wurzeln scharf nach Meerrettich riechen. Verantwortlich dafür sind die Glucosinolate, die dieselbe Schwefelchemie aufweisen wie bei Senf und Kresse.

Welches Moringa ist das beste?

Achten Sie darauf, ob ein konzentrierter Extrakt oder nur gemahlenes Blattpulver verarbeitet wurde, und ob der Pflanzenteil deklariert ist. Erntemethode und Extraktionsverfahren bestimmen den Glucosinolatgehalt unmittelbar.

Wann sollte man Moringa einnehmen?
