Gerstengras ist das junge Blattgrün der Gerste (Hordeum vulgare L.), geerntet lange vor der Ährenbildung. Im Blattstadium ist der Chlorophyll- und Mineralstoffgehalt am höchsten. Unsere Tagesdosis liefert 3.000 mg Extrakt.

Ist Gerstengras glutenfrei?

Gluten entsteht erst im Korn. Da ausschließlich das junge Blatt vor der Kornbildung verarbeitet wird, ist Gerstengras in der Regel glutenfrei. Bei Zöliakie sollte dennoch auf eine ausdrückliche Glutenfrei-Deklaration geachtet werden.

Was ist der Unterschied zwischen Gerstengras und Gerste?

Gerstengras ist das junge Blatt, Gerste das reife Korn. Das Blatt liefert vor allem Chlorophyll und Mineralstoffe, das Korn überwiegend Stärke. Ernährungsphysiologisch sind das zwei völlig verschiedene Dinge.

Welches Gerstengras ist das beste?

Achten Sie auf die Farbe als Qualitätsindikator: Sattgrün spricht für schonende Trocknung, bräunliche Ware für zu hohe Temperaturen. Prüfen Sie außerdem, ob ein konzentrierter Extrakt oder gemahlenes Pulver mit hohem Rohfaseranteil verarbeitet wurde.

Wann sollte man Gerstengras einnehmen?
