Glycin ist die kleinste proteinogene Aminosäure und die einzige ohne Chiralitätszentrum. Sie ist mengenmäßig der wichtigste Baustein des Kollagens und Bestandteil des Tripeptids Glutathion. Unsere Tagesdosis liefert 2.000 mg.

Wie wirkt Glycin?

Glycin ist Baustein körpereigener Proteine, insbesondere von Kollagen, sowie einer der drei Bausteine von Glutathion. Im Zentralnervensystem fungiert es zudem als Neurotransmitter.

Hat Glycin Nebenwirkungen?

Glycin ist die einzige proteinogene Aminosäure ohne Chiralitätszentrum. Es existiert daher nur eine einzige Form - die Bezeichnung L-Glycin wäre chemisch nicht korrekt.
