What is shilajit? The resin from the Himalayas
- Shilajit (also known as mumijo, mumie or moomiyo) is a sticky, brown-black organo-mineral substance that seeps from rock crevices in mountain regions at altitudes of 1,000 to 5,000 m - including the Himalayas.
- It forms over long periods through the microbial decomposition of plant material and consists largely of humic substances, above all fulvic acid and humic acid, complemented by minerals and trace elements.
- In India's Ayurvedic tradition, shilajit has been used for centuries and is part of numerous classical formulations (Wilson et al., 2011).
Shilajit resin with 80% fulvic acid - what's inside?
- Green Naturals Shilajit Resin clearly declares its fulvic acid content of 80% (400 mg per daily portion) - compared to many manufacturers who state neither fulvic acid nor humic acid content.
- You receive pure resin in its original form, with shilajit resin as the only ingredient - compared to many manufacturers who disclose neither the origin nor the purity of their raw material.
- The daily portion of 500 mg corresponds to the amount investigated in a randomised, placebo-controlled 8-week study with 63 men (Keller et al., 2019); the humic substances from mumie have also been chemically characterised (Schepetkin et al., 2003).
Buy shilajit: premium quality, lab-tested and filled in Germany
- Every batch is independently lab-tested and filled in Germany - for traceable purity in a natural raw material whose composition can vary greatly depending on its origin.
- There are currently no authorised health claims under EFSA for shilajit and fulvic acid - which is why we rely on transparent ingredient information instead of promises of effect.
- 70 g of shilajit resin lasts approx. 140 days at 500 mg per day - around 5 months' supply in one jar.
-
Optimal time of intake
Ideally take Shilajit Resin in the morning. Completely dissolve the daily portion in a cup of warm water, tea or plant-based milk and drink it - what matters is regular daily intake.
-
Dosage and duration of use
Daily portion: 500 mg shilajit resin (= 400 mg fulvic acid and 60 mg humic acid), dissolved in hot liquid; sweeten to taste if desired. Do not exceed the recommended daily intake. 70 g lasts approx. 140 days. For adults only; pregnant and breastfeeding women and children should consult a doctor or pharmacist before use.

Remarks
- HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) is a preventive system for ensuring food safety that identifies and assesses potential hazards in production and minimizes them through targeted control measures. The seal refers to the manufacturing process.
- This is how the grade is calculated: Grade calculation based on star ratings: 5.00 - 4.50 Very good, 4.49 - 3.50 Good, 3.49 - 2.50 Satisfactory, 2.49 - 1.50 Sufficient, 1.49 - 1.00 Poor. For the verification of ratings, no authenticity check of customer reviews is carried out. The ratings are combined from different sources, such as mail-order pharmacies and online marketplaces.
